We got new furniture! If your child comes home talking about a "fat boy" do not be alarmed! There is a company called Fat Boy USA and we have some of their furniture in our classroom. The kids love it! It makes for a new environment of collaboration!

I cannot believe we are closing out the year! It will be summer before you know it and I will have to say goodbye to these kids I have known for so long!
English Language Arts:
Spelling words consist of comparative adjectives (taller, tallest, bigger, biggest, faster, fastest). In comprehension, we are reading Non-Fiction books to discover the main idea and details that support it.
Writing:
Research projects turned out really well! They are currently on display in the hall but will be coming home very soon!
This week we will focus on drafting and editing.
Math:
We are reviewing and going deeper into place value over the next 2 weeks.
Science:
Life Cycles! Meal worms! Eek!
Social Studies
We will be discussing how families make decisions and why we have jobs!

- Try to log on to quizlet.com at home. This is a web based program that can be used on the computer or tablet. Search for my class and there are some different "decks" to help with sight words and spelling words. The kids love it! Below is a picture of them playing games with quizlet yesterday.
